Life after infertility is a whole new world - which I know nothing about! But I don't want to forget a moment of this pregnancy that took so long to get.

9 Months
3/4 of a year old and almost an outside baby as long as she was an inside baby. She brings so much joy and fun into our lives its unbelievable. The past month has been a whirlwind as always but we did manage to get our first family beach day in! She loved everything about it especially the sand. Oh the sand. She ate so much of it. The water was a little too cold but she still didn't mind when it rushed into her.
We also took our first family bike ride, so much fun. She looks adorable in her helmet and somehow doesn't hate it!
This was also my first Mothers Day and Chris did quite well! I got a gorgeous pair of peridot and diamond earrings, peridot is Audrey's birthstone. Love them so much <3
We just tried to spend some good quality family time together after tax season and before full time boardwalk season. We went to the zoo and the park and for walks. Audrey still has zero interest in crawling but lots of interest in walking while holding our hands. She's starting to let go of one hand and see what happens, which usually is just stand there in the same position lol. We've kept the same nap and eating schedule going for a few months now which looks like this.
7am - wake up, 6 oz bottle
7:30 - breakfast (yogurt or oatmeal with fruit puree and banana pieces)
9:00 - nap
10-10:30 - wake up, 6 oz bottle
12 noon - lunch (veggie/grain pouch, puffs or pieces of noodle, etc)
2-2:30 - 6 oz bottle, nap
4-4:30 - wake up
5pm - dinner (same as lunch basically)
7pm - 6 oz bottle, bed
She is such a happy baby and loves going out and seeing people. And if you're not paying attention, watch out! She'll shriek until you look at her then smile, laugh and clap. She is loving clapping right now, cracks me up. Her other favorite game is peekaboo, with anything she can cover her face with. It thrills me how interactive and smart she is.
8 Months
8 months old. As per usual, hard to believe.
This was the end of tax season, thank god. Looking forward to spending some good family time together in the next few weeks. Audrey is still loving her jumperoo, going out and meeting new people and "walking" with our hands. I swear she will never crawl. Apparently, I never did either so maybe it's genetic!
Audrey had her first Easter, Chris and I were at the boardwalk working most of the weekend but I was able to get some Easter diaper photo shots in :) Its nice for my grandparents and aunts and uncles to spend time with her even though I would have preferred being there also! She's just so much fun and so happy everyone loves to see her.
Her first Easter basket:
She's working on her top 2 teeth so in the next few weeks they should be cutting through. Luckily they don't seem to bother her *too* much so I'm thankful for that! We're working on giving her more table foods but Daddy is still terrified and wants to feed her purees forever :) She's also starting to learn how to use the straw sippy which is fun. The things that thrill me now!

7 Months!
I'm late again, but I blame tax season. Again. :) Our little baby has passed the half year mark and is steaming towards 1 year.
March was a busy month work-wise for me so I didn't get to see her nearly as much as I would like. Her and daddy had plenty of bonding time though! March is also her grandmom's birthday month so we made her a fun sign to facetime with, since Marm was in DC for the weekend.
She's such a pro at sitting now, has zero interest in crawling and absolutely hates bending her knees in general, unless of course she's jumping. She lovessss her jumperoo! Her favorite toys right now are the jumperoo, Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Purse, and her stacking rings. Chris and I both know the purse song by heart now lol. My favorite toy is Violet since the way she pauses before she says Audrey's name cracks me up.
She's loving all her food, anything we give her she tries. She's not a huge fan of broccoli yet, but mixed with something else, she'll eat it. We're starting to give her puffs sometimes and Abby (our dog) is a HUGE fan, she ends up with way more puffs then Audrey does.
She's still in 6-9 month clothing but the pj's are getting too short for her super long legs. I can't believe my little baby is wearing 12m anything!
It was also her first St. Patrick's Day! Given her extremely fair skin, I'm guessing this will be a cherished holiday at some point :)
And here she's modeling my favorite diaper :)

6 Months
I'm a little late but its tax season so I forgive myself :)
Audrey is half a year old now which is just crazy quick. She'll be 1 year old before I know it! Right now, her favorite things are eating, standing and making noise :) She's still growling but she's really starting to make "mmm" sounds too. She can blow raspberries too which is hysterical! Apparently Daddy does that a lot!
This month we took our first family ski trip! So much fun. Chris and I got to ski a lot while my mom pushed her around. She spent a lot of time like this
She absolutely loves eating and loves avocados! We're doing 1 meal right now but she'll eat whatever we offer her. I'm making her purees which is actually fun.
She had her first Valentines Day, which we were actually away for so I had to fake it the next day :)
She wasn't thrilled. She's become a much better napper thank god! She takes about 45 minutes in the morning and maybe 1.5 hours in the afternoon. It's a lifesaver for Chris. She's also sitting so so much better. It's great to be able to leave her sitting and playing, she loves it!
Here's some random shots of the month of February!

Cloth Diapers 6 months in
We've hit 6 months of almost exclusively cloth diapers and I'm still in love with them! We use mostly sized Bum Genius all in ones, a couple Bum Genus one size Elementals, a couple Rumparooz one size pockets, Grovia one size all in twos, and some fitteds. For daytime and being out and about, the AIOs or Grovia's are my top pick, they take up the least amount of room and are easy on/off. The RaR are a little bit bulkier but great for stuffing with hemp at night and still easy on/off for daytime. Elementals are good for day, but not absorbent enough for night. For night, I use mostly fitteds with a cover. I'm a sucker for those cute prints!
Chris will even say they're easy! It's overwhelming at first but it really is just as easy as disposables.

Homemade Baby Food
Making my own purees is something I've wanted to do since getting pregnant. I thought it would be pretty easy and cheaper then buying from the grocery store. Then I got this for my baby shower:
I can't rave enough about the Baby Bullet!! In about 1/2 hour last night, I made 9 one oz servings of purees and scooped them into their cute little containers and was done! I made carrots, acorn squash, and pear. I gave her a little taste of carrots when they were done and she loved them! I was on a puree high last night LOL
There's even a smaller container, so if we have leftover veggies from dinner we can just pop them in and not have to use the bigger container.

5 Months!
Audrey celebrated her 5 month birthday by sitting her own long enough to get a picture!! It was hysterical because we were at my work so my parents were there, plus us, plus the two other employees. Everyone was just circled around her taking pictures, it was like paparazzi!!
This month was her first New Years' Eve which she celebrated by sleeping :) And also the month I went back to work. I was sad and nervous but I'm leaving her with Chris so that makes me feel a million times better. Plus I was getting a little stir crazy being home all the time. I mean we ran plenty of errands but just the lack of routine starts to get to me. I'm not a CPA because I don't like a routine! We've all adjusted pretty well I think. I don't get to see her as much as I'd like but its really the best situation we could hope for, so I try not to complain.
We also started cereal on her month birthday! I was the most excited member of the family for this :) She seems to like it, some days she eats it all and some days not so much. We're just doing a tablespoon of dry rice cereal mixed with enough formula to make it edible but not too runny. It sure makes a mess though!
She lunges for the spoon but I think she most interested in chewing on the spoon!
Audrey also learned to roll back to belly this month! She did it a ton when she first learned but now she's not as interested. She would much rather sit or stand then lay.
This is my favorite picture from this month:
