We decided to cloth diaper so we wanted to go to a class and see all the diapers in person not just online. We went to the Nesting House in a really cute area of Philly and it ended up being a 2 hour class! She went over cloth vs disposable, care of cloth, and different cloth options. It seemed easy, affordable, eco friendly, kind of a win win for everyone.
Diapering a child for 2 1/2 years in disposables cost somewhere around $2,500 vs the $300-800 of cloth diapering. Not to mention the fact that disposables are the #1 non-recyclable item in landfills and don't break down for 500 years. That blows my mind.
And the #1 reason - they are stinking cute!! Kelly's Closet was having a special where spending $39 would get you a free diaper. In that order I got a pack of orange Lil Joeyz. Cutest.thing.ever.
They are so so tiny and adorable in person!
Life after infertility is a whole new world - which I know nothing about! But I don't want to forget a moment of this pregnancy that took so long to get.

It's a Girl!!!
Today was our anatomy scan and we found out we're having a baby girl! Everything else looked good and "normal" too so we couldn't be more excited! I was so nervous this morning and then we ended up waiting an hour just to be seen. So annoying! The u/s itself was about an hour long and the baby was super active so she had to redo the heart area a couple times to get a good shot.
And in even better news, my ovary went down about 3cm!! I'm still technically restricted from everything but I'm personally easing up because I'm kind of over the restrictions, lol.
It's April Fools Day, so last night we made cupcakes with 1/2 pink and 1/2 blue frosting to announce to my parents at work. So we get to my work and first bring them 6 blue cupcakes, everyone was like Yayyy! then I took the lid off and said April Fools and showed them pink cupcakes! Hysterical! My mom was still a little confused and thought we were tricking her again.
To tell Chris' parents, I had him tell them we couldn't tell and had to do a repeat in a few weeks. Then we had pink flowers sent to the with the card saying, April Fools its a Girl! We figured that we won't have an opportunity to announce the sex on April Fools Day probably ever again!
Current stats: 19w3d, weight +2 lbs, baby 9 oz
