But I don't want to forget a moment of this pregnancy that took so long to get.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.comBlogger81125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-90218383086956462292015-01-09T13:11:00.003-08:002015-01-09T13:11:53.625-08:009 Months In, 9 Months OutEthan's first 9 months on the outside have absolutely flown by. We had his first Thanksgiving (he liked the food) and his first Christmas (also liked the food). He got a bit overwhelmed by all the people but calmed down and had fun. As long as someone he knew was holding him! He got a bunch of fun toys, he really loves the Fisher Price crawl around car - and so does Audrey. They like to play in it together, which is great to see. He is also a HUGE fan of the princess magiclip dolls that Audrey got. He is not allowed to touch them though when she's home, she freaks out lol.<br />
<br />
He also started crawling, pulling to stand on everything, going up a few stairs, and cruising like a pro! He wants to walk on his own so badly but isn't quite there yet. I'm sure it will be coming soon! He's a little late on verbal stuff but he is babbling all the consonants now, so I'm sure he'll catch up. We're trying to make sure we read to him a ton so he can hear tons of words.<br />
<br />
Ethan is also a champion eater and will try pretty much anything and then look for more! He eats 3 full meals a day plus 4-5 bottles. He can drink out of pretty much any straw cup also. He's at 2 naps a day and hopefully stays like that for a while! He's a smiley, sweet, baby and I can't wait to see what the next months bring.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-35779340516086405412014-11-11T18:13:00.001-08:002014-11-11T18:13:14.914-08:007 Months7 months has gone so so quickly. Ethan took his first vacation! We went with Chris' family to the Outer Banks. Had a great time taking walks, going in the pool, going to the beach, and just hanging out. <div><br></div><div>Ethan loves jumping and chewing on everything he can find! Everything! Funny how kids are so different because Audrey wasn't like that. He's eating 2 meals a day plus bottles and sleeping a lovely 12 hours (or more!) a night. The morning nap is guaranteed but an afternoon nap is less consistent. It's ok though because Audrey doesn't nap anyway so it gives us more flexibility. </div><div><br></div><div>He is solidly in 12 month clothes even though I try to squish him in some 9 month stuff for one more wear :). He also has 2 bottom teeth that juuuust poked through. </div><div><br></div><div>He's such a squishy happy baby- always smiling!</div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-36361597748416321682014-09-30T12:17:00.000-07:002014-09-30T12:17:09.384-07:00Audrey is 3!Wheeeee, someone is three! 3 is actually a really fun age, even taking threenager drama into account. Her imagination is crazy and cracks me up daily. Its a whole new wonderful world where she's not running into traffic, running into the street, etc. I can take her out of the car and know she will stand right there until I'm ready for us to go into the store/house/whatever. She has her moments of course, but she does love her brother "Efan", she can't wait until he can actually talk and play with her "when he's bigger". So sweet. There's jealousy of course and sometimes she *needs* something exactly when he needs a bottle or to be changed. For the most part though, she's really adapted quite well. 2.5-3 was rough with her, but we've really turned a corner now.<br />
<br />
Current loves are playing outside, painting, Peppa Pig, Doc McStuffins, her best friend Evie, going to the beach and boardwalk, going on the rides. Oh and ice cream and cookies, she certainly got our sweet tooth! She's fully potty trained, nights too which is AMAZING. She had a rough summer of sleep, I think mostly because Chris was at work with lots of wake-ups, but overall she sleeps about 11 hours per night with no naps. She does still nap at school but never at home.<br />
<br />
She starts 3 days a week of preschool this year and is so excited. She loves the structure of school. Summer camp, not so much. It was too free and too many kids for her liking. She's turning out to be sensitive, which is surprising given my personality, but I'm trying to pay attention to it and use things that hurt her feelings as teachable moments. She likes to know how things are going to be, but as long as you explain it to her ahead of time, she can handle change pretty well.<br />
<br />
When she plays independently with her dolls and puts them to sleep or to nap or to time out, she mimics us, which is adorable. Turns out, we're doing things right! Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-28127984042363214352014-09-15T11:25:00.000-07:002014-09-15T11:25:41.099-07:00Ethan's 5 MonthsEthan's 5 months old now and that means my favorite milestone is coming up - eating! I loved feeding Audrey and I'm excited to start feeding Ethan too. I plan on making some puree and buying some puree, whatever is easier at the time. Making them is great because you really can make a big batch in a few minutes. Given his new fascination with watching us eat, I think he's ready!<br />
<br />
And in awesome news, he just started sleeping through the night! Woohoo, I could finally sleep - except that my almost 3 year old wakes up multiple times a nice. But that's a different sob story. He is truly the sweetest, happiest baby. The only time he's really unhappy is when he's overtired and we don't get him for a nap soon enough. He's into the "put everything in your mouth" stage and drooling nonstop. I don't remember this from Audrey! He is soaking his shirts constantly!<br />
<br />
Audrey is really sweet to him (most of the time) she can't wait until he can interact and play with her and neither can I! He's loving his exersaucer and jumper too. Still not so much with being on his stomach although he CAN roll he just chooses not to. Lazy babies :)Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-40311190571217555072014-07-25T17:52:00.000-07:002014-07-25T17:52:17.693-07:00Baby E is 4 MonthsFour months went quick, as it seems to always do! Ethan is really the sweetest, happiest baby! Always smiling and laughing, especially at his big sister. Sibling love starts early evidently! And Audrey is really good with him (mostly), she gets really concerned if he cries and tries to help me either get his paci, or tells me he pooped, or tells me "Ethan needs his bottle, you get him his bottle" Its the cutest thing. Good thing they are adorable (mostly) because being a parent is damn exhausting :P<br />
<br />
Ethan, although not a great napper, has recently started STTN. So YAY for that! I remember Audrey being the same way, so hopefully once we're past this wonder week(s) he'll start to take some predictable naps. He's still eating 6oz bottles, every 3 hours so approx 30 oz a day. He slowed down a little from the 36 he was taking about a month ago. I hope that means, he might stay in this size clothing a little longer!<br />
<br />
Giant baby is in 9 month clothes. 9! His well appt is Monday so I'm curious what his official height and weight will be. I've weighed and measured him at home and came up with about 19lbs and 26.5", we'll see if I'm close.<br />
<br />
He's really starting to interact and notice everything around him and he's loving his exersaucer. He doesn't like laying down as much anymore, he wants to be part of the action! No rolling at all yet, but that big ole butt isn't helping him much!Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-85612919969817249252014-06-10T04:44:00.001-07:002014-06-10T04:44:45.401-07:00Almost a ThreenagerShe's almost 3 and we see signs of it daily, both good and bad. There's drama over everything, complete conversations, lots of "I want to do it myself", and lots of meltdowns. <div><br></div><div>Last night she didn't want to wait for me so she went and got undressed, climbed into her bath and turned the water on! Hard to believe in 3 short years she's turned into a person. When she's being sweet and lovely we have the best conversations, she cracks me up. Love our little family <3</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTN_-ipDwhyphenhyphenTatrU97h_nRVdw7t9IPXwWzOl3X-aqjXkrR-vs_0ztQpzvLaN0JVEjJuV-sGLcAf5Q_ChgB-Jnj3aW4Htx86oFBwQ-WqNultJCV8rXrToPCxhuYmuO9GvovOcgc6FbRV8Fa/s640/blogger-image-692620127.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTN_-ipDwhyphenhyphenTatrU97h_nRVdw7t9IPXwWzOl3X-aqjXkrR-vs_0ztQpzvLaN0JVEjJuV-sGLcAf5Q_ChgB-Jnj3aW4Htx86oFBwQ-WqNultJCV8rXrToPCxhuYmuO9GvovOcgc6FbRV8Fa/s640/blogger-image-692620127.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-2141963918889542992014-05-27T05:23:00.001-07:002014-05-27T05:23:41.811-07:002 Months OldTime is flying, Ethan is 2 months old already. I'm still home full time but that time is ending soon. We are getting into a bit of a routine now which is great. He sleeps and naps in his crib, otherwise big sister likes to wake him up!<div><br></div><div>He smiles and laughs now, you can see his dimples are adorable! I just want to squish him, he's so sweet and mellow. He isn't going any longer then 4-5 hours between feedings but I'm hoping one day soon! He goes to bed at 7 and we feed him usually twice before getting up for the day around 8-9. Now if only Audrey would sleep until then...</div><div><br></div><div>He's eating 6 oz bottles now and only formula. He likes ceiling fans, the piano play mat, being held, and baths. He doesn't dislike too much other then being hungry! He's awake a bit more now, and taking 2-3 naps a day as long as we are home.</div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-29846169080533827012014-05-01T14:46:00.001-07:002014-05-04T18:33:42.032-07:00Big Guy is 1 MonthAnd big he is! At his 5 week pedi appointment he measured 12lbs and 24.25"!! Now we know why he eats so much! He's been taking 5 and 6 oz at a time recently and I was worried about over feeding him. The pedi said as long as he's not spitting up a ton, then he's probably just hungry. <div><br></div><div>Right now Ethan</div><div>-- sleeps 4-5 hours at a time and we just started doing a "bedtime" with him around 7-8pm. He goes down in the RnP in our room and wakes up only to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Mostly. Sometimes he wants to cuddle after the 3am wake up.</div><div>-- eats 5-6oz every 3-4 hours</div><div>-- likes cuddling, tolerates tummy time, and narrowly avoids being injured by his over excited sister multiple times a day</div><div><br></div><div>The transition to 2 has been interesting and challenging. Audrey likes to help with him and when he cries she runs right over and says "Don't worry buddy. It's ok baby Ethan" with this concerned look on her face. It's adorable.</div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhurQ7kYHOg868AtIp5Ntpyu00SJ8EqFnEHDcrNyKPfLP6qxIo9wGh73RQWW_SH5qF0tlOiEqVV9rRx1PGzfoQ9ScAaXEy3uba5TfpFXIRcEuZL4C7g3KEqRk1zCpfb-q-I0PV0BFjEhnFP/s640/blogger-image--1454654709.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhurQ7kYHOg868AtIp5Ntpyu00SJ8EqFnEHDcrNyKPfLP6qxIo9wGh73RQWW_SH5qF0tlOiEqVV9rRx1PGzfoQ9ScAaXEy3uba5TfpFXIRcEuZL4C7g3KEqRk1zCpfb-q-I0PV0BFjEhnFP/s640/blogger-image--1454654709.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-75724158627530592992014-04-12T18:23:00.001-07:002014-04-12T18:23:07.193-07:00He's Here!Only 3 weeks late but Ethan George arrived on 3/24 at 7:12pm at 9lbs 6oz and 22" long. I was scheduled for a c-section the next day (because of his size estimate) but much to my surprise, my water broke Monday morning! So we dropped A at school and headed to the hospital. To wait. And wait and wait. I wasn't having contractions and the baby was tolerating things fine so we kept getting bumped! The worst part was having no food for the entire day.<div><br></div><div>I wasn't scared until they wheeled me in the OR. I got the spinal and my legs were numb within seconds it felt like. Overall it wasn't bad, just some shivering from the anesthesia. The OB took his time stitching me up too which is partly why I healed so well I think. Chris went with Ethan to the nursery and to see my mom then we met up again in recovery. I was still a little out of it and the ice chips the nurse gave me tasted like the best things ever!</div><div><br></div><div>Once I got feeling back in my legs they let me go back to my regular room where just continued nursing and napping and getting checked by nurses for the next few hours. </div><div><br></div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRUAF1SSdyFVUdfA-SMDe4LTM98bGpwMSnxV3uNRQ7eMjmvYZVjdSe3r3v77ls-4rjFytJKPCnjO3ofUW5davpVSoUx7TEocCuqHUdfeJSKwu8eRRIbwhPu7Xtbw2aeRM3ZJFK7gF35f-A/s640/blogger-image--525507318.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRUAF1SSdyFVUdfA-SMDe4LTM98bGpwMSnxV3uNRQ7eMjmvYZVjdSe3r3v77ls-4rjFytJKPCnjO3ofUW5davpVSoUx7TEocCuqHUdfeJSKwu8eRRIbwhPu7Xtbw2aeRM3ZJFK7gF35f-A/s640/blogger-image--525507318.jpg"></a></div><br></div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-67053754718718997022013-12-10T13:02:00.002-08:002013-12-10T13:02:48.871-08:0024w UpdatesYay for viability day! I wasn't really ever too concerned with this milestone until the bleeding episodes I've had this pregnancy. Everything was fine and non interesting until the beginning of Nov. We were away in Hershey to see Disney Jr Live and I woke up pouring blood. Like a ton. It was gross and scary. I called the OB while heading to the ER. They luckily weren't very busy so they were able to get me in and seen relatively quickly. Standing in the ER I felt a huge huge gush and I honestly thought my water had broken and I was going to lose the baby. I was only 19w so I knew they wouldn't have been able to do anything for me if my water really had broken. So I was freaking out but trying to stay calm on the outside for Chris and Audrey.<br />
<br />
They got me in and situated then took some blood and did an u/s which showed baby boy bouncing away. Cervix was fine, placenta was fine and miraculously baby was fine. Turns out it was a SCH that had burst. They told me to take it easy and go see my OB. The OB sent me to the MFM for an anatomy scan that week. I thought I was going to get to skip him this time but apparently not! He showed me where it was and said it was pretty big. Usually they resolve and go away on their own although mine doesn't seem to be doing that. It *shouldn't* cause me any problems but I'll be grilling him about that next appt since it isn't resolving.<br />
<br />
Which I know because I started bleeding red again Thanksgiving Eve leading to a L&D visit Thanksgiving morning. Fun times. Luckily everything was fine again and I did get to watch the parade while drinking coffee :) I just prefer to do it at home next year!<br />
<br />
We just got back from 4 days in Disney and luckily everything was ok there too, which I was worried about. So I'm continuing to try and not pick Audrey up too much and it seems likely I'll be on restricted activity and pelvic rest for the forseeable future. Hopefully not, but I'll find out more Christmas Eve.<br />
<br />
We also found out at the a/s that baby boy's kidneys were mildly dilated so we're hoping that goes away by the next u/s also. Fingers crossed.<br />
<br />
We have the room painted and rug bought, but that's it so far. Christmas and Disney have thrown off my schedule but we'll get there. I'm hoping to register next week or this weekend since I'm having a sprinkle sometime in January. Yay for cake and presents!! Really I do just think its nice to celebrate each baby with cake at least!Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-26838779785644604942013-11-05T07:52:00.002-08:002013-11-05T07:52:52.543-08:00It's a Boy!We opted to do an elective ultrasound (by opted I mean I begged until Chris agreed). As soon as the tech put the wand on my stomach, I could see. Boy. Alllll boy. To say we were shocked is an understatement. I don't know if it's like that for everyone, but having had one girl we both just figured this would be a girl also.<br />
<br />
Took a few days to process but now we've closed in on a name, I think, bought a going home outfit and told everyone :) I was always excited but seriously in shock. I would't have thought that would be my reaction though. It will be great for Audrey I think to have a little brother, I can't wait for them to play together <3<br />
<br />
My real anatomy scan is at the MFM on Nov 19th. I'm anxiously anticipating it, I just want them to say everything is healthy. For now, I just enjoy the few kicks/movements I feel!Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-14669603247300689832013-10-14T18:02:00.001-07:002013-10-14T18:02:59.957-07:00Potty trainingSo Audrey decided to potty train herself! Exciting and a bit daunting, I wasn't quite ready for this yet. So far she's doing great at home, hasn't tried it yet at school on in public. I'm excited she's doing it so well though, hopefully she will be fully trained by Christmas!Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-62236247098629508472013-10-06T18:51:00.001-07:002013-10-06T18:51:30.269-07:00First Tri DoneI'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and feeling pretty great! First tri was not a good time with a toddler but we survived. Again, no throwing up but lots of nausea and heartburn. Pretty the only time I felt ok was laying down, which Audrey was not a fan of. And with Chris at work I just had to suck it up. I took a yoga hiatus for a while but started getting back into it the last week, it's been fun starting new challenge poses while pregnant. I really hope it helps keep me in shape this pregnancy.<div><br></div><div>We told Audrey there's a baby in my belly but she wants to see it to believe it lol! Hopefully she gets it in the next few months. Really dying to know gender right now, I tried talking Chris into an elective u/s but he wasn't biting. Boo! 5 more weeks and we can know!</div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-70057219356863181882013-09-05T18:36:00.001-07:002013-09-05T18:36:18.763-07:002!Audrey is officially 2 and Minnie Mouse party is complete. She had a great time with family and her friends, they ran around outside the entire time. Presents she wasn't really into lol. Her big present from us was a "big girl" bed which we actually just put together, but she loves it! Now she has room for allll her dollies and toys, it's a crowded bed!<div><br></div><div>2 year stats: 35.5" 26.5 lbs</div><div>Favorite toys: play kitchen, baby dolls, puzzles, coloring, shopping cart</div><div>Favorite things to do: be outside! Anything outside, beach, pool, play in the yard, bike rides</div><div>Favorite foods: ogurt (yogurt) p jelly (pb&j) pizza, anything with dippy (ketchup or syrup), cheese, corn in the cob</div><div>She is huge on people's names and giving directions. Sit down mommy! I want to go dis way! (pointing while we drive), she loves saying hi and bye to everyone we see and she will just get louder if you don't answer her. </div><div>Favorite phrase: (my favorite) bye bye see ya! (Chris' favorite) ooooooh wowwww! When she's excited</div><div>Also, any money is "Daddy's money!"</div><div>She sleeps 7pm to 630ish am, takes 1.5 hr nap for us, 2+ hrs for my mom</div><div>She knows almost all her colors and can identify them, she can match all shapes and will identify some, she loves singing part of the Abcs, she counts 2, 7, 9, but does know what two of something means. She is full of energy and makes us laugh every day.</div>Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-71684813415290671482013-08-01T17:41:00.002-07:002013-08-01T17:41:29.371-07:00B.E. 2.0Well, we had a successful FET and 4 good beta's so looks like we're on this roller coaster again! I started BCP's in the beginning of June, then overlapped with lupron, got a "lupron bleed" then started estrogen and progesterone 6/24/13. The actual transfer was 7/12/13 and I promptly started POAS :) <br />
<br />
Beta 1 was 9dp5dt 170 p4 10.8 (crinone)<br />
Beta 2 was 12dp5dt 880 p4 4.2 (crinone)<br />
Beta 3 was 16dpt5dt 3715 p4 21.7 (PIO)<br />
Beta 4 was 17dpt5dt 8897 p4 24 (PIO)<br />
<br />
In the meantime, I had started on crinone but when I went to refill it, it was going to cost $1, 000 a month! Insane and frankly, unaffordable. I talked to the doctor and he agreed to switch me to PIO. Who knew I would prefer ass shots?? They're actually not bad at all, plus you get the actual progesterone level in your blood which makes me feel so much better!<br />
<br />
My official due date is 3/30/13 which is...interesting, but not like we didn't know that going into it. It's funny because first time, I was so much more consumed with the actual pregnancy part of it. Now, I'm obsessed with the newborn part. I want to buy all the stuff I need, and tiny diapers and tiny clothes. Now that I know what to look forward to, I'm so so excited. First u/s is next Tues, I'll be 6w1d so hopefully we'll see a heartbeat.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-84620811184207515132013-03-05T13:00:00.000-08:002013-03-05T13:00:06.291-08:00In the meantime, Detox Diet time!!Chris and I are attempting the <a href="http://www.wholeliving.com/216861/2013-action-plan-week-1/@center/216880/2013-whole-living-action-plan">Whole Living Action Plan</a>, which is a 21 day detox diet. For the first week, you eat nothing but fruits, veggies, seeds and nuts. There is no sugar, dairy, gluten, caffeine or processed foods the entire time.<br />
<br />
This morning I had <a href="http://www.wholeliving.com/216564/blueberry-mint-smoothie">Blueberry Mint smoothie</a> which was really yummy. For lunch, its a decent looking Detox salad which is a copycat of the Whole Foods detox salad. Its chopped up carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, raisins and sunflower seeds. Chris says it looks like what they feed the birds at the zoo! haha Dinner is a sweet potato, green apple slaw, which looks and tastes very similar to the detox salad.<br />
<br />
I already gave myself a cheat for a small coffee with minimal cream and sugar every morning. Since it's tax season I don't have time for withdrawal headaches every day.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-66937665183430160102013-03-05T08:09:00.004-08:002013-03-05T08:09:56.033-08:00BFNI cried, I cried some more, then I started to move on mentally. It sucks so bad, but I can't change it. The only thing I can do is move forward, get some guidance at my consult on 3/14 and plan our FET.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-31724518539708464772013-02-20T16:28:00.003-08:002013-02-20T16:28:54.436-08:00PUPOSo after another million, ok 4, appointments, they decided I was ok to trigger on Wed, the day before Valentine's Day! We made the arrangements for my mom to take Audrey Valentine's night since we had to be up there at 10:30 with "the sample" aka sperm. So we thought, yay! night to ourselves, clean up, rest, etc. Nope, I ended up with a stomach bug and didn't leave the bed all.day. It was awful and very boring for Chris!<br />
<br />
Luckily by Friday morning I was mostly recovered, it helped that I hadn't eaten in 2 days! So the retrieval went well and they were able to get 15 eggs! I was shocked, honestly. The last u/s showed about 5ish around 20 and 5ish around 14/15 with a few above and a few below. I thought we were going to be lucky to get 10.<br />
<br />
Daily updates said we ended up 14 normal embryos that kept dividing normally. Transfer was scheduled for the following Wed, which leads up to today. They came in and told us they had one 4AA blast ready for us and 6(!!) to freeze. Given that AWESOME news, its such a weight off knowing we have more we can try with if this one doesn't stick. It also makes me believe the quality of the one we transferred is really good, probably better then the ones we transferred last time. They didn't give us the actual grades last time.<br />
<br />
So today I'm PUPO. Pregnant until proven otherwise.<br />
<br />
Testing commences this weekend, stay tuned.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-58764406914796868112013-02-07T10:35:00.002-08:002013-02-07T10:35:50.929-08:00Monitoring #24 follies at 12m, a bunch 10 and under. Oh wait.Last week, after taking clomid on days 3-7 (100mg just like last time) I went for my CD14 u/s expecting to see one or two follies ready to rock. Umm yeah, nothing. None over 8mm, nowhere near ready to ovulate. Whyyyyyy. Why can't my body just work and failing that, why can't it just respond to medicine?!<br />
<br />
I'd never heard of it, but they put me right back on clomid for another 5 days. 150mg this time. And then that's it, done with clomid and the hot flashes it brings forever. That's too much clomid and to not even respond this time is ridiculous.<br />
<br />
The only plus is that, this go round we are both much calmer about everything. I actually laughed when they told me no response. Like, seriously?! My body is stupid. Oh well. Next u/s is Monday and hopefully this time we'll get ready for our hail mary IUI.Karihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13035816753013879019noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022356265871958985.post-52332671366109083412012-12-13T19:20:00.000-08:002012-12-13T19:20:18.882-08:0014 MonthsOur whirling dervish is 14 months old now and so so active. She loves attention and making people laugh which we all do! And we had our first vacation without baby!! We spent 4 nights in Chicago and had a blast. She loved being with "Marm" her grandmother and didn't seem to miss us at all!<br />
<br />
We did all sorts of fun fall things this month. Went pumpkin picking, took walks, raked leaves, more walks, painted pumpkins (FAIL) and went to Boo at the Zoo. She was the cutest elephant ever!<br />

She's walking everywhere and getting much quicker! Sadly, she's also dropped her morning nap most days. ::sob:: She's eating almost everything in sight and has almost all her teeth! Still missing the top canines but bottom canines and all 1 year molars are through!<br />
<br />
We got some professional family pics done with my sister in law, brother in law and their 2 kids. The setting was really cool, at a sheep farm in PA. The pics were not so cute but getting 7 people to look good in one picture is near impossible it turns out. She loved petting the sheep though.<br />
