Most Loved Items List

I love reading these so I figure I'll start one.

There's many toys she likes and plays with but there's some that she just hasn't been able to get enough of.  These are all besides my wallet, keys, cell phone, ipad and sunglasses :)

Fisher Price Luv U Zoo Jumperoo.  She jumped for DAYS in this.  Loved this so so much.

Fisher Price Laugh N Learn Activity Table.  She still plays with this! It has a setting for music, for abcs, for spanish (which she loved!) and for everything is on mode :)

Melissa & Doug Sand Baking Kit.  This picture is off, but she absolutely loves this.  Plays with it every day since she got back in August and its December now! She carries around the different pieces, puts the bucket on her head, she does it all lol.

Fisher Price Laugh n Learn Farm ( or house or kitchen) A must have for any baby, she loved this when she could only sit, when she learned to pull and she still walks around it and plays with it.

IQ Baby shape sorter.  She got this as a gift and loves it! She is even getting better at putting the right shapes in the right spot.  Mostly she loves putting everything she sees into and out of it.

Not a toy but she loves "reading" them, we have a bunch all over the house and she loves flipping through them and having us read one page before she runs off.

It's go time! Oh wait.

Last week, after taking clomid on days 3-7 (100mg just like last time) I went for my CD14 u/s expecting to see one or two follies ready to rock.  Umm yeah, nothing. None over 8mm, nowhere near ready to ovulate.  Whyyyyyy. Why can't my body just work and failing that, why can't it just respond to medicine?!

I'd never heard of it, but they put me right back on clomid for another 5 days. 150mg this time.  And then that's it, done with clomid and the hot flashes it brings forever. That's too much clomid and to not even respond this time is ridiculous.

The only plus is that, this go round we are both much calmer about everything. I actually laughed when they told me no response. Like, seriously?! My body is stupid. Oh well.  Next u/s is Monday and hopefully this time we'll get ready for our hail mary IUI.

14 Months

Our whirling dervish is 14 months old now and so so active.  She loves attention and making people laugh which we all do!  And we had our first vacation without baby!! We spent 4 nights in Chicago and had a blast.  She loved being with "Marm" her grandmother and didn't seem to miss us at all!

We did all sorts of fun fall things this month.  Went pumpkin picking, took walks, raked leaves, more walks, painted pumpkins (FAIL) and went to Boo at the Zoo.  She was the cutest elephant ever!

She's walking everywhere and getting much quicker!  Sadly, she's also dropped her morning nap most days. ::sob:: She's eating almost everything in sight and has almost all her teeth!  Still missing the top canines but bottom canines and all 1 year molars are through!

We got some professional family pics done with my sister in law, brother in law and their 2 kids.  The setting was really cool, at a sheep farm in PA.  The pics were not so cute but getting 7 people to look good in one picture is near impossible it turns out.  She loved petting the sheep though.

Here favorite things are running around, her little people farm, flipping through books and putting things into and out of her shape sorter, baskets, anything really.

Glittery Uterus and other updates

So I had my baseline u/s this morning and the dr saw 2 shiny round spots in my uterus that he doesn't know what they are... so that's awesome.  I joked that I had glitter in there and he laughed but still looked super confused.  I guess it wasn't too concerning because I start clomid tomorrow, 100mg a day from CD3-7.  Next step is u/s on CD14 and hopefully trigger and IUI shortly thereafter!

Seems so long ago I was there constantly and also so familiar that it can't have been 2 years since I found out I was pregnant and 3 years since my first visit.  My monitoring u/s this cycle is the 3 year anniversary of my very first consult there and 2 year BFP anniversary.  Hoping it means something good!!

13 Months

My baby is a full blown toddler now!  She's basically walking now, but still crawls.  Its bittersweet for sure, every  milestone is.  I love watching her learn and play and discover new things.  She's still on her same schedule of 7am-7pm sleep and 2 naps a day.  I started back to work full time after Labor Day so Chris is back to daddy duty!  Its a bit different from May when she was barely moving around, now its constantly watching where she's headed next.

She loves to go in circles holding onto the furniture in the living room.  Also loves climing in the tv stand/toy holder, which is hysterical!  She's been focusing on walking so not too many new words this month.  She says, mama, dada, hi, bye, all done, doggie, balloon, kitty, poppy, marmot and probably a couple I'm forgetting.  We had our 1 year check up and the pedi is really happy with her development.  She points at everything, which is something they look for at the 15m appt so yay for being ahead of that :)  She's 31" and not quite 20 lbs yet.  So long and lean, she'll be happy about that later in life!

She's still a pretty good eater with some picky days because of teeth.  We also made the switch from bottles to sippys and from formula to milk!! She handled both pretty darn well.  She's not drinking quite as much milk as she should be, so we're making sure she gets yogurt and cheese also.

We went to North Carolina for 4 days and she had a blast!  I'll update on that in a separate post.

1 YEAR OLD!!!

This day last year was a hurricane and at 2:57am I had a daughter.

This year I have a beautiful, funny, outgoing, smiling, inquisitive one year old.

Her party was so so much fun, everything went smoothly, food was good, my cake was a hit, cupcakes were good, she was loving the attention. It was great!

This cake was my labor of love! 6 different colored layers with vanilla buttercream icing.  It was really good!!

We also visited our close friends in MI for their daughter's 1st birthday!  Also super fun and despite the unseasonable weather Brynn and Audrey both had  great time!  So much fun seeing them play together <3

We also got to meet sweet Gabriel for the first time :)  so tiny and squishy!

Pictures with babies are never straight on. Le sigh.

Same feeding/sleeping schedule.  Audrey has 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom and her molars are coming through now.  Teeth aren't that bad for her ::knock wood:: but the molars have kept her up a few times, hopefully they come through soon.  She's eating real people food all the time now, pouches are still great for snacks out and about.  We're about to make the whole milk/sippy switch this week.  Wish us luck!

11 Months

This is our last month sticker :(  Its a good thing too because catching a mobile baby is NOT easy.

She is cruising nonstop so getting her to sit is near impossible! More steps but no full on walking yet, just cruising to crawling to cruising.  Staying at home is exhausting!  Although working and being a single parent the other days is equally as exhausting.  At least at work I get uninterrupted coffee time :)  My mom is watching her Mon, Wed, Thur and I'm home Tues and Fri.  Let me tell you, after our 3 days weekends I look forward to work Monday mornings :)

It has been another super hot summer and we've been heading to the beach usually once a week.  Marm takes her usually 1 day too.  We have the cutest bee float for her and she loves splashing in the ocean!  As soon as she sees the water, she heads straight forward nonstop into even the waves!  Her fearlessness concerns me a bit lol.  Hard to get pics these days, but its really cute!

We also made a ghetto pool using her ducky tub that shes finally outgrown.  Sad face.  She's getting so big.

And here's the real pool at Marm's

"Pretty Clare" (what we call my cousin Clare) has been down a bunch hanging out with us and it's been a huge help!  We're really focused on getting her to say Clare, so far we're up to "Cll"

Speaking of, Clare and I ran a 5k mud run this month.  It was hard but I survived!  It was really fun though and I would definitely do it again.  We were "Team Giraffe" and had a fan club.

Audrey's first 4th of July, but no fireworks for her!  Too late and I'm not messing with her bedtime for something she may hate lol.  She did dress for the occasion though.
